Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

⁸ Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for God has the power to help or to overthrow.”^(A)

²³ And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.^(A)

¹³ Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’^(A) Then what shall I tell them?”

¹⁷ “Watch me,” he told them. “Follow my lead. When I get to the edge of the camp, do exactly as I do.

¹⁶ “Come near^(A) me and listen^(B) to this:

¹⁹ You are to give a young bull^(A) as a sin offering^[a] to the Levitical priests of the family of Zadok,^(B) who come near^(C) to minister before me, declares the Sovereign Lord.
