49 Remember your promise to me;
it is my only hope.
50 Your promise revives me;
it comforts me in all my troubles.
51 The proud hold me in utter contempt,
but I do not turn away from your instructions.
52 I meditate on your age-old regulations;
O Lord, they comfort me.
53 I become furious with the wicked,
because they reject your instructions.
54 Your decrees have been the theme of my songs
wherever I have lived.
55 I reflect at night on who you are, O Lord;
therefore, I obey your instructions.
56 This is how I spend my life:
obeying your commandments.

57 Lord, you are mine!
I promise to obey your words!
58 With all my heart I want your blessings.
Be merciful as you promised.
59 I pondered the direction of my life,
and I turned to follow your laws.
60 I will hurry, without delay,
to obey your commands.
61 Evil people try to drag me into sin,
but I am firmly anchored to your instructions.
62 I rise at midnight to thank you
for your just regulations.
63 I am a friend to anyone who fears you—
anyone who obeys your commandments.
64 O Lord, your unfailing love fills the earth;
teach me your decrees.

49 Hinumdomi ang imong saad kanako nga imong alagad,
kay kini ang nagahatag kanako ug paglaom.
50 Ang nagalipay kanako sa akong mga pag-antos mao kini: ang imong saad nagalugway sa akong kinabuhi.
51 Gibiaybiay ako pag-ayo sa mga mapahitas-on,
apan wala ako mobiya sa imong kasugoan.
52 Ginoo, gihinumdoman ko ang imong mga sugo nga gihatag mo sa unang panahon,
ug naghatag kini kanako ug kalipay.
53 Labihan ang akong kasuko tungod sa mga tawong daotan nga nagasalikway sa imong kasugoan.
54 Magaawit ako mahitungod sa imong mga tulumanon bisan asa ako magpuyo.[a]
55 Ginoo, panahon sa kagabhion ginahinumdoman ko ikaw ug ginahunahuna ko kon unsaon ko pagtuman ang imong kasugoan.
56 Mao kini ang akong kalipay: ang pagsunod sa imong mga tulumanon.
57 Ikaw lang gayod Ginoo ang akong gikinahanglan.
Nagasaad ako sa pagtuman sa imong mga pulong.
58 Gihangyo ko ikaw sa kinasingkasing gayod;
kaloy-i ako sumala sa imong saad.
59 Gihinuktokan ko ang akong pagkinabuhi,
ug misaad ako nga mosunod sa imong mga katudloanan.
60 Gituman ko dayon ang imong mga sugo.
61 Bisan pa ug gigapos ako sa mga tawong daotan,
wala ko kalimti ang imong mga kasugoan.
62 Sa panahon sa tungang gabii mobangon ako sa pagpasalamat kanimo sa matarong mo nga mga sugo.
63 Higala ako sa tanan nga nagatahod kanimo ug nagatuman sa imong mga tulumanon.
64 Ginoo, gihigugma mo ang tanang mga tawo sa kalibotan.
Tudloi ako sa imong mga tulumanon.

49 Remember your word(A) to your servant,
for you have given me hope.(B)
50 My comfort in my suffering is this:
Your promise preserves my life.(C)
51 The arrogant mock me(D) unmercifully,
but I do not turn(E) from your law.
52 I remember,(F) Lord, your ancient laws,
and I find comfort in them.
53 Indignation grips me(G) because of the wicked,
who have forsaken your law.(H)
54 Your decrees are the theme of my song(I)
wherever I lodge.
55 In the night, Lord, I remember(J) your name,
that I may keep your law.(K)
56 This has been my practice:
I obey your precepts.(L)

57 You are my portion,(M) Lord;
I have promised to obey your words.(N)
58 I have sought(O) your face with all my heart;
be gracious to me(P) according to your promise.(Q)
59 I have considered my ways(R)
and have turned my steps to your statutes.
60 I will hasten and not delay
to obey your commands.(S)
61 Though the wicked bind me with ropes,
I will not forget(T) your law.
62 At midnight(U) I rise to give you thanks
for your righteous laws.(V)
63 I am a friend to all who fear you,(W)
to all who follow your precepts.(X)
