5 When hard pressed,(A) I cried to the Lord;
    he brought me into a spacious place.(B)
6 The Lord is with me;(C) I will not be afraid.
    What can mere mortals do to me?(D)
7 The Lord is with me; he is my helper.(E)
    I look in triumph on my enemies.(F)

8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord(G)
    than to trust in humans.(H)

The Lord answered me and (B)set me in a broad place.
6 (C)The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?
7 (D)The Lord is for me among those who help me;
Therefore (E)I shall see my desire on those who hate me.
8 (F)It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man.
