Psalm 118:13-24

¹³I was ^(A)pushed hard,^[a] so that I was falling,
but the Lord helped me.

¹⁴The Lord is my strength and my song;
    ^(B)he has become my salvation.
¹⁵Glad songs of salvation
    are in the tents of the righteous:
^(C)“The right hand of the Lord ^(D)does valiantly,
¹⁶    the right hand of the Lord exalts,
    the right hand of the Lord ^(E)does valiantly!”

¹⁷^(F)I shall not die, but I shall live,
and ^(G)recount the deeds of the Lord.
¹⁸The Lord has ^(H)disciplined me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.

¹⁹^(I)Open to me the gates of righteousness,
    that I may enter through them
    and give thanks to the Lord.
²⁰This is the gate of the Lord;
    ^(J)the righteous shall enter through it.
²¹I thank you that ^(K)you have answered me
    ^(L)and have become my salvation.
²²^(M)The stone that the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone.^[b]
²³This is the Lord's doing;
    it is marvelous in our eyes.
²⁴This is the day that the Lord has made;
    let us rejoice and be glad in it.

¹³I was pushed back and about to fall,
but the Lord helped me.^(A)
¹⁴The Lord is my strength^(B) and my defense^[a];
he has become my salvation.^(C)

¹⁵Shouts of joy^(D) and victory
    resound in the tents of the righteous:
“The Lord’s right hand^(E) has done mighty things!^(F)
¹⁶    The Lord’s right hand is lifted high;
    the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!”
¹⁷I will not die^(G) but live,
    and will proclaim^(H) what the Lord has done.
¹⁸The Lord has chastened^(I) me severely,
    but he has not given me over to death.^(J)
¹⁹Open for me the gates^(K) of the righteous;
    I will enter^(L) and give thanks to the Lord.
²⁰This is the gate of the Lord^(M)
    through which the righteous may enter.^(N)
²¹I will give you thanks, for you answered me;^(O)
    you have become my salvation.^(P)
