5 (A)A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs (B)with discretion.
6 Surely he will never be shaken;
(C)The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
7 (D)He will not be afraid of evil tidings;
His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
8 His (E)heart is established;
(F)He will not be afraid,
Until he (G)sees his desire upon his enemies.
9 He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever;
His [a]horn will be exalted with honor.
10 The wicked will see it and be grieved;
He will gnash his teeth and melt away;
The desire of the wicked shall perish.

5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,(A)
who conduct their affairs with justice.
6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken;(B)

7 They will have no fear of bad news;
their hearts are steadfast,(D) trusting in the Lord.(E)
8 Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;(F)
in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.(G)
9 They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,(H)
their righteousness endures(I) forever;
their horn[a] will be lifted(J) high in honor.
