The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.

A Psalm of David.

⁶⁴ Jesus *said to him, “^(A)You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, ^[a]hereafter you will see ^(B)the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and ^(C)coming on the clouds of heaven.”

¹⁹ So then, when the Lord Jesus had ^(A)spoken to them, He ^(B)was received up into heaven and ^(C)sat down at the right hand of God.

³⁴ For it was not David who ascended into ^[a]heaven, but he himself says:

³⁶ Therefore let all the ^(B)house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both ^(C)Lord and ^[b]Christ—this Jesus ^(D)whom you crucified.”

The Ingathering

³⁷ Now when they heard this, they were ^[c]pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “^[d]Brethren, ^[e](E)what shall we do?” ³⁸ Peter said to them, “^(F)Repent, and each of you be ^(G)baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. ³⁹ For ^(H)the promise is for you and your children and for all who are ^(I)far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” ⁴⁰ And with many other words he solemnly ^(J)testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “^[f]Be saved from this ^(K)perverse generation!” ⁴¹ So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand ^[g](L)souls. ⁴² They were ^(M)continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to ^(N)the breaking of bread and ^[h](O)to prayer.

^43 [i]Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many ^(P)wonders and ^[j]signs were taking place through the apostles. ⁴⁴ And all those who had believed ^[k]were together and ^(Q)had all things in common; ⁴⁵ and they ^(R)began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. ^46 (S)Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and ^(T)breaking bread ^[l]from house to house, they were taking their ^[m]meals together with gladness and ^[n]sincerity of heart, ⁴⁷ praising God and ^(U)having favor with all the people. And the Lord ^(V)was adding ^[o]to their number day by day ^(W)those who were being saved.

²⁵ For He must reign ^(A)until He has put all His enemies under His feet.

¹³ But to which of the angels has He ever said,

¹³ waiting from that time onward ^(A)until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet.
