Psalm 11
Complete Jewish Bible
11 (0) For the leader. By David:
(1) In Adonai I find refuge.
So how can you say to me,
“Flee like a bird to the mountains!
2 See how the wicked are drawing their bows
and setting their arrows on the string,
to shoot from the shadows at honest men.
3 If the foundations are destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”
4 Adonai is in his holy temple.
Adonai, his throne is in heaven.
His eyes see and test humankind.
5 Adonai tests the righteous;
but he hates the wicked and the lover of violence.
6 He will rain hot coals down on the wicked,
fire, sulfur and scorching wind
will be what they get to drink.
7 For Adonai is righteous;
he loves righteousness;
the upright will see his face.

Orthodox Jewish Bible
11 (For the one directing. Of Dovid.) In Hashem do I take refuge; how say ye to my nefesh, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, hinei, the resha’im bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may secretly shoot at the yishrei lev (upright in heart).
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the tzaddik do?
4 Hashem is in His Heikhal Kodesh, Hashem’s kisse is in Shomayim; His eyes examine, His eyelids try, Bnei Adam.
5 Hashem trieth the tzaddik, but the resha’im and him that loveth chamas (violence) His Nefesh hateth.
6 Upon the resha’im He shall rain snares, eish and gofrit, and a burning wind; this shall be the portion of their kos (cup).
7 For Hashem is tzaddik (righteous), Hashem loveth tzedakot; His countenance doth behold the yashar (upright).

Psalmul 11
Pentru dirijor. Al lui David.
1 La Domnul găsesc adăpost! Cum puteţi să-mi spuneţi:
„Fugi în munţii voştri ca o pasăre“?
2 Cei răi îşi încordează arcul,
îşi potrivesc săgeata pe coardă,
ca să-l ţintească pe întuneric
pe cel cu inima cinstită.
3 Când temeliile se surpă,
ce mai poate face cel drept?
4 Domnul este în Templul Său cel sfânt,
Domnul este pe tronul Lui din ceruri.
Ochii Lui privesc
sufletul Lui îi urăşte.[a]

5 Domnul încearcă(I) pe cel neprihănit,
