¹⁸He ^(A)clothed himself with cursing as his coat;
may it ^(B)soak^[a] into his body like water,
like oil into his bones!

¹⁸He wore cursing^(A) as his garment;
it entered into his body like water,^(B)
into his bones like oil.

²²Those who hate you will be ^(A)clothed with shame,
and the tent of the wicked will be no more.”

²²Your enemies will be clothed in shame,^(A)
and the tents^(B) of the wicked will be no more.”^(C)
