7 God hath spoken in his [a]holiness: therefore I will rejoice, I shall divide Shechem and measure the valley of Succoth.
8 Gilead shall be mine, and Manasseh shall be mine: Ephraim also shall be the strength of mine head: Judah is my lawgiver.
9 (A)Moab shall be my washpot: over Edom will I cast out my shoe: upon Palestine will I triumph.

7 God has spoken(A) from his sanctuary:(B)
“In triumph I will parcel out Shechem(C)
and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.(D)
8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim is my helmet,
Judah(E) is my scepter.
9 Moab(F) is my washbasin,
on Edom(G) I toss my sandal;
over Philistia(H) I shout in triumph.”
