Psalm 107:4-9
New International Version
4 Some wandered in desert(A) wastelands,
finding no way to a city(B) where they could settle.
5 They were hungry(C) and thirsty,(D)
and their lives ebbed away.
6 Then they cried out(E) to the Lord in their trouble,
and he delivered them from their distress.
7 He led them by a straight way(F)
to a city(G) where they could settle.
8 Let them give thanks(H) to the Lord for his unfailing love(I)
and his wonderful deeds(J) for mankind,
9 for he satisfies(K) the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things.(L)
Psalm 107:4-9
King James Version
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
