New International Version

¹¹because they rebelled^(A) against God’s commands
and despised^(B) the plans^(C) of the Most High.

³⁰But the Pharisees and the ^(A)scholars of the Law rejected God’s purpose for themselves, not having been baptized by ^[a]John.
