Psalm 105:17-22
New American Standard Bible
17 He (A)sent a man before them,
Joseph, who was (B)sold as a slave.
18 They forced his (C)feet into shackles,
[a]He was put in irons;
19 Until the time that his (D)word came to pass,
The word of the Lord (E)refined him.
20 The (F)king sent and released him,
The ruler of peoples, and set him free.
21 He (G)made him lord of his house,
And ruler over all his possessions,
22 To [b]imprison his high officials [c](H)at will,
That he might teach his elders wisdom.

18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
