⁹ He lies in wait in a hiding place as ^(A)a lion in his ^[a]lair;
He ^(B)lies in wait to catch ^(C)the afflicted;
He catches the afflicted when he draws him into his ^(D)net.

¹¹ If they say, “Come with us,
Let us ^(A)lie in wait for blood,
Let us ^(B)ambush the innocent without cause;

²² May an ^(A)outcry be heard from their houses,
When You suddenly bring raiders upon them;
^(B)For they have dug a pit to capture me
And ^(C)hidden snares for my feet.

¹⁵ The Chaldeans ^(A)bring all of them up with a hook,
^(B)Drag them away with their net,
And gather them together in their fishing net.
Therefore they are glad and rejoice.
