4 Have the workers of injustice (A)no knowledge,
Who eat up My people like they ate bread,
And have not called upon God?
5 They were in great [a]fear there, (B)where no [b]fear had been;
For God (C)scattered the bones of [c]him who encamped against you;
You (D)put them to shame, because (E)God had rejected them.

They devour my people as though eating bread;
    they never call on God.
5 But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
    where there was nothing to dread.(A)
