Psalm 96:4-9

⁴ For the Lord is great and is highly praised;
he is feared above all gods.^(A)
5 For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
but the Lord made the heavens.^(B)
6 Splendour and majesty are before him;
strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.^(C)

⁷ Ascribe to the Lord, you families of the peoples,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.^(D)
8 Ascribe to the Lord the glory of his name;^(E)
bring an offering and enter his courts.^(F)
9 Worship the Lord in the splendour of his holiness;^(G)
let the whole earth tremble before him.^(H)
