Psalm 74:4-7

⁴ Your foes have ^(A)roared in the midst of your meeting place;
    ^(B)they set up their ^(C)own signs for ^(D)signs.
⁵ They were like those who swing ^(E)axes
    in a forest of trees.^[a]
6 And all its ^(F)carved wood
    they broke down with hatchets and hammers.
⁷ They ^(G)set your sanctuary on fire;
    they ^(H)profaned ^(I)the dwelling place of your name,
    bringing it down to the ground.
