¹¹ If you then, who are evil,^(A) know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him.

¹⁷ For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn^(A) the world, but to save the world through him.

¹⁵ For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear.^(A) Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption,^(B) by whom we cry out, “Abba,^[a] Father!” ^(C)

¹⁷ If you appeal to the Father who judges impartially^(A) according to each one’s work,^(B) you are to conduct yourselves in reverence^(C) during your time living as strangers.
