Psalm 51:16-19
New American Standard Bible

16 For You (A)do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it;
You do not take pleasure in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a (B)broken spirit;
A broken and a contrite heart, God, You will not despise.

18 (C)By Your favor do good to Zion;
[a](D)Build the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then You will delight in [b](E)righteous sacrifices,
In (F)burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then [c]bulls will be offered on Your altar.

17 My sacrifice,(B) O God, is[a] a broken spirit;

18 May it please you to prosper Zion,(D)
    to build up the walls of Jerusalem.(E)
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,(F)
    in burnt offerings(G) offered whole;
    then bulls(H) will be offered on your altar.
