A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.

⁶ “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while^(A) I will once more shake the heavens and the earth,^(B) the sea and the dry land. ⁷ I will shake all nations, and what is desired^(C) by all nations will come, and I will fill this house^(D) with glory,^(E)’ says the Lord Almighty.

¹⁹ Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers,^(A) but fellow citizens^(B) with God’s people and also members of his household,^(C)

3 See what great love^(A) the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!^(B) And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.^{(C) 2} Dear friends,^(D) now we are children of God,^(E) and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,^[a](F) we shall be like him,^(G) for we shall see him as he is.^(H)
