⁵⁸ so that he causes us to be devoted^[a] to him,^(A) to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commands, statutes, and ordinances, which he commanded our ancestors.

¹⁹ I will give them integrity of^[a] heart^(A) and put a new spirit within them; I will remove their heart of stone^(B) from their bodies^[b] and give them a heart of flesh,^{(C) 20} so that they will follow my statutes,^(D) keep my ordinances, and practice them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.^(E)

⁴⁴ No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws^[a] him, and I will raise him up on the last day. ⁴⁵ It is written in the Prophets: ^(A) And they will all be taught by God.^[b](B) Everyone who has listened to and learned from the Father^(C) comes to me—

⁶ Jesus told him, “I am^(A) the way,^(B) the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
