²³ He will bring back on them ^(A)their iniquity
    and ^(B)wipe them out for their wickedness;
    the Lord our God will wipe them out.

¹⁶ His ^(A)mischief returns upon his own head,
    and on his own skull his violence descends.

^32 (A)The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing,
    but ^(B)the righteous finds refuge in his death.

²² but the wicked will be ^(A)cut off from the land,
    and the treacherous will be ^(B)rooted out of it.

⁸ They are brought to ruin, with their own ^(A)tongues turned against them;
    all who ^(B)see them will ^(C)wag their heads.

²⁴ As for the ten horns,
out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise,
    and another shall arise after them;
he shall be different from the former ones,
    and shall put down three kings.
