^10 (A)For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, ^(B)that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Submit to God, Resist the Devil

⁵ Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, ^(A)all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for

²² For the Father judges no one, but ^(A)has committed all judgment to the Son, ²³ that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. ^(B)He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

²⁵ Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so ^(A)that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! ^(B)Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

^6 (A)Render to her just as she rendered ^[a]to you, and repay her double according to her works; ^(B)in the cup which she has mixed, ^(C)mix double for her. ^7 (D)In the measure that she glorified herself and lived ^[b]luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as ^(E)queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ ⁸ Therefore her plagues will come ^(F)in one day—death and mourning and famine. And ^(G)she will be utterly burned with fire, ^(H)for strong is the Lord God who ^[c]judges her.
