⁷ In the council^(A) of the holy ones^(B) God is greatly feared;
    he is more awesome than all who surround him.^(C)

² For the Lord Most High^(A) is awesome,^(B)
    the great King^(C) over all the earth.

⁷ It is you alone who are to be feared.^(A)
    Who can stand^(B) before you when you are angry?^(C)
8 From heaven you pronounced judgment,
    and the land feared^(D) and was quiet—
⁹ when you, God, rose up to judge,^(E)
    to save all the afflicted^(F) of the land.
¹⁰ Surely your wrath against mankind brings you praise,^(G)
    and the survivors of your wrath are restrained.^[a]

¹¹ Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them;^(H)
    let all the neighboring lands
    bring gifts^(I) to the One to be feared.

“Great and marvelous are your deeds,^(D)
    Lord God Almighty.^(E)
Just and true are your ways,^(F)
    King of the nations.^[a]
4 Who will not fear you, Lord,^(G)
    and bring glory to your name?^(H)
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come
    and worship before you,^(I)
for your righteous acts^(J) have been revealed.”^[b]

¹⁰ But the Lord is the true God;
    he is the living God,^(A) the eternal King.^(B)
When he is angry,^(C) the earth trembles;^(D)
    the nations cannot endure his wrath.^(E)

⁷ Who should not fear^(A) you,
    King of the nations?^(B)
    This is your due.
Among all the wise leaders of the nations
    and in all their kingdoms,
    there is no one like you.
