    and righteousness the plumb line;^(B)
hail^(C) will sweep away your refuge, the lie,
    and water will overflow^(D) your hiding place.

⁶ On the wicked he will rain
    fiery coals and burning sulfur;^(A)
    a scorching wind^(B) will be their lot.

²⁰ Terrors^(A) overtake him like a flood;^(B)
    a tempest snatches him away in the night.^(C)
21 The east wind^(D) carries him off, and he is gone;^(E)
    it sweeps him out of his place.^(F)
22 It hurls itself against him without mercy^(G)
