⁶ He is the Maker of heaven^(A) and earth,
    the sea, and everything in them—
    he remains faithful^(B) forever.
⁷ He upholds^(C) the cause of the oppressed^(D)
    and gives food to the hungry.^(E)
The Lord sets prisoners free,^(F)

³³ The Lord hears the needy^(A)
    and does not despise his captive people.

⁵ “Because the poor are plundered^(A) and the needy groan,^(B)
    I will now arise,^(C)” says the Lord.
    “I will protect them^(D) from those who malign them.”
