Psalm 69:6-8
New International Version
6 Lord, the Lord Almighty,
may those who hope in you
not be disgraced because of me;
God of Israel,
may those who seek you
not be put to shame because of me.
7 For I endure scorn(A) for your sake,(B)
and shame covers my face.(C)
8 I am a foreigner to my own family,
a stranger to my own mother’s children;(D)
Psalm 69:6-8
New King James Version
6 Let not those who [a]wait for You, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed because of me;
Let not those who seek You be [b]confounded because of me, O God of Israel.
7 Because for Your sake I have borne reproach;
Shame has covered my face.
8 (A)I have become a stranger to my brothers,
And an alien to my mother’s children;
