^5 (A)Do not cover their iniquity, and do not let their sin be blotted out from before You; for they have provoked You to anger before the builders.

^14 (A)Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works.

²⁸ And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things ^(A)which are not fitting;

^10 (A)And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, ^(B)for the time is at hand. ¹¹ He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him ^[a]be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

¹¹ And ^(A)for this reason God will send them strong delusion, ^(B)that they should believe the lie, ¹² that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but ^(C)had pleasure in unrighteousness.

² For I bear them witness ^(A)that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. ³ For they being ignorant of ^(B)God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own ^(C)righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

³¹ but Israel, ^(A)pursuing the law of righteousness, ^(B)has not attained to the law ^[a]of righteousness.

¹⁸ Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He ^(A)hardens.
