⁴ May the nations be glad and sing for joy,^(A)
    for you rule the peoples with equity^(B)
    and guide the nations of the earth.^(C)

⁹ let them sing before the Lord,
    for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
    and the peoples with equity.^(A)

“Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”^[a](A)

“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
    let all the peoples extol him.”^[b](B)

⁸ He rules the world in righteousness^(A)
    and judges the peoples with equity.^(B)

¹⁴ They raise their voices, they shout for joy;^(A)
    from the west^(B) they acclaim the Lord’s majesty.
¹⁵ Therefore in the east^(C) give glory^(D) to the Lord;
    exalt^(E) the name^(F) of the Lord, the God of Israel,
    in the islands^(G) of the sea.
¹⁶ From the ends of the earth^(H) we hear singing:^(I)
    “Glory^(J) to the Righteous One.”^(K)

But I said, “I waste away, I waste away!^(L)
    Woe^(M) to me!
The treacherous^(N) betray!
    With treachery the treacherous betray!^(O)”

⁴ May all the kings of the earth^(A) praise you, Lord,
    when they hear what you have decreed.
⁵ May they sing^(B) of the ways of the Lord,
    for the glory of the Lord^(C) is great.

⁶ “I said, ‘You are “gods”;^(A)
    you are all sons of the Most High.’
