⁹ he has preserved our lives^(A)
    and kept our feet from slipping.^(B)

³ He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;

⁶ Surely the righteous will never be shaken;^(A)
    they will be remembered^(B) forever.

¹⁸ When I said, “My foot is slipping,^(A)”
    your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.

²³ The Lord makes firm the steps^(A)
    of the one who delights^(B) in him;
²⁴ though he may stumble, he will not fall,^(C)
    for the Lord upholds^(D) him with his hand.

³ The scepter^(A) of the wicked will not remain^(B)
    over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
    their hands to do evil.^(C)
