⁹ Then everyone will fear;
    they will tell what God has brought about
    and ponder what he has done.^(A)

¹⁰ The Lord has brought forth our vindication;
    come, let us declare in Zion
    the work of the Lord our God.^(A)

¹² whose feasts consist of lyre and harp,
    tambourine and flute and wine,
but who do not regard the deeds of the Lord
    or see the work of his hands!^(A)

³ He put a new song in my mouth,
    a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear
    and put their trust in the Lord.^(A)

⁹ Those who are wise understand these things;
    those who are discerning know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right,
    and the upright walk in them,
    but transgressors stumble in them.^(A)

²⁰ My soul is consumed with longing
    for your ordinances at all times.^(A)

⁴² The upright see it and are glad,
    and all wickedness stops its mouth.^(A)
43 Let those who are wise pay attention to these things
    and consider the steadfast love of the Lord.^(B)
