¹² If he does not turn back,
He will ^(A)sharpen His sword;
He bends His bow and makes it ready.
¹³ He also prepares for Himself instruments of death;
He makes His arrows into fiery shafts.

¹³ Therefore this iniquity shall be to you
^(A)Like a breach ready to fall,
A bulge in a high wall,
Whose breaking ^(B)comes suddenly, in an instant.

29 He^(A) who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck,
Will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

¹⁵ Therefore his calamity shall come ^(A)suddenly;
Suddenly he shall ^(B)be broken ^(C)without remedy.

¹⁹ Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment!
They are utterly consumed with terrors.

^14 (A)He sent out His arrows and scattered ^[a]the foe,
Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them.

^4 (A)For the arrows of the Almighty are within me;
My spirit drinks in their poison;
^(B)The terrors of God are arrayed ^(C)against me.

⁴² I will make My arrows drunk with blood,
And My sword shall devour flesh,
With the blood of the slain and the captives,
From the heads of the leaders of the enemy.” ’
