^11 (A)Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous,
    and ^(B)shout for joy, all you ^(C)upright in heart!

33 ^(D)Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous!
    ^(E)Praise befits the upright.

² His ^(A)offspring will be mighty in the land;
    ^(B)the generation of the upright will be blessed.

^11 (A)Light ^(B)is sown^[a] for the righteous,
    and joy for the upright in heart.

² As ^(A)smoke is driven away, so you shall drive them away;
    ^(B)as wax melts before fire,
    so the wicked shall perish before God!
³ But ^(C)the righteous shall be glad;
    they shall exult before God;
    they shall be jubilant with joy!

³ He put ^(A)a new song in my mouth,
    a song of praise to our God.
Many will ^(B)see and fear,
    and put their trust in the Lord.

²⁰ Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me!
    ^(A)Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
