Lead Me to the Rock

To the choirmaster: with ^(A)stringed instruments. Of David.

61 Hear my cry, O God,
    ^(B)listen to my prayer;
²from the end of the earth I call to you
    when my heart is ^(C)faint.
Lead me to ^(D)the rock
    that is higher than I,
³for you have been ^(E)my refuge,
    a strong ^(F)tower against the enemy.

⁴Let me ^(G)dwell in your tent forever!
Let me take refuge under ^(H)the shelter of your wings! Selah
⁵For you, O God, have heard my vows;
you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

⁶^(I)Prolong ^(J)the life of the king;
may his years endure to all generations!
⁷May he be enthroned forever before God;
appoint ^(K)steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him!

⁸So will I ever sing praises to your name,
as I ^(L)perform my vows day after day.

My Soul Waits for God Alone

62 For God alone ^(N)my soul ^(O)waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation.
²^(P)He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my ^(Q)fortress; ^(R)I shall not be greatly shaken.

³How long will all of you attack a man
    to batter him,
    like ^(S)a leaning wall, a tottering fence?
⁴They only plan to thrust him down from his ^(T)high position.
    They take pleasure in falsehood.
^(U)They bless with their mouths,
    but inwardly they curse. Selah

⁵For God alone, O ^(V)my soul, wait in silence,
    for my hope is from him.
⁶^(W)He only is my rock and my salvation,
    my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
⁷On God rests my ^(X)salvation and my glory;
    my mighty rock, ^(Y)my refuge is God.

⁸^(Z)Trust in him at all times, O people;
^(AA)pour out your heart before him;
God is ^(AB)a refuge for us. Selah

⁹^(AC)Those of low estate are but a breath;
    those of high estate ^(AD)are a delusion;
in the balances they go up;
    ^(AE)they are together lighter than a breath.
¹⁰Put no trust in extortion;
    ^(AF)set no vain hopes on robbery;
    ^(AG)if riches increase, set not your heart on them.

¹¹^(AH)Once God has spoken;
    ^(AI)twice have I heard this:
that ^(AJ)power belongs to God,
¹²    and that to you, O Lord, ^(AK)belongs steadfast love.
For you will ^(AL)render to a man
    according to his work.

O God of Our Salvation

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. A Song.

65 Praise ^(A)is due to you,^[a] O God, in Zion,
    and to you shall ^(B)vows be performed.
²O you who ^(C)hear prayer,
    to you ^(D)shall all flesh come.
³When ^(E)iniquities prevail against me,
    you ^(F)atone for our transgressions.
⁴^(G)Blessed is the one you choose and bring near,
    to ^(H)dwell in your courts!
We shall be ^(I)satisfied with the goodness of your house,
    the holiness of your temple!

⁵By ^(J)awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness,
    O God of our salvation,
the hope of all ^(K)the ends of the earth
    and of the farthest seas;
⁶the one who by his strength established the mountains,
    being ^(L)girded with might;
⁷who ^(M)stills the roaring of the seas,
    the roaring of their waves,
    ^(N)the tumult of the peoples,
⁸so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs.
You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.

⁹You visit the earth and ^(O)water it;^[b]
    you greatly enrich it;
^(P)the river of God is full of water;
    ^(Q)you provide their grain,
    for so you have prepared it.
¹⁰You water its furrows abundantly,
    settling its ridges,
softening it with ^(R)showers,
    and blessing its growth.
¹¹You crown the year with your bounty;
    your wagon tracks ^(S)overflow with abundance.
¹²^(T)The pastures of the wilderness overflow,
    the hills ^(U)gird themselves with joy,
¹³^(V)the meadows clothe themselves with flocks,
    the valleys deck themselves with grain,
    they ^(W)shout and sing together for joy.

Galatians 6

Bear One Another's Burdens

6 Brothers,^[a] ^(A)if anyone is caught in any transgression, ^(B)you who are spiritual should restore him in ^(C)a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. ²^(D)Bear one another's burdens, and ^(E)so fulfill ^(F)the law of Christ. ³For ^(G)if anyone thinks he is something, ^(H)when he is nothing, he deceives himself. ⁴But let each one ^(I)test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. ⁵For ^(J)each will have to bear his own load.

⁶^(K)Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. ⁷^(L)Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for ^(M)whatever one sows, that will he also reap. ⁸For ^(N)the one who sows to his own flesh ^(O)will from the flesh reap corruption, but ^(P)the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. ⁹And ^(Q)let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, ^(R)if we do not give up. ¹⁰So then, ^(S)as we have opportunity, let us ^(T)do good to everyone, and especially to those who are ^(U)of the household of faith.

Final Warning and Benediction

¹¹See with what large letters I am writing to you ^(V)with my own hand. ¹²^(W)It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh ^(X)who would force you to be circumcised, and only ^(Y)in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. ¹³For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. ¹⁴But far be it from me to boast ^(Z)except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which^[b] the world ^(AA)has been crucified to me, and I to the world. ¹⁵For ^(AB)neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but ^(AC)a new creation. ¹⁶And as for all who walk by this rule, ^(AD)peace and mercy be upon them, and upon ^(AE)the Israel of God.
