¹⁸ You show love^(A) to thousands but bring the punishment for the parents’ sins into the laps^(B) of their children^(C) after them. Great and mighty God,^(D) whose name is the Lord Almighty,^{(E) 19} great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds.^(F) Your eyes are open to the ways of all mankind;^(G) you reward each person according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve.^(H)

⁶ You alone are the Lord.^(A) You made the heavens,^(B) even the highest heavens, and all their starry host,^(C) the earth^(D) and all that is on it, the seas^(E) and all that is in them.^(F) You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven^(G) worship you.
