⁶     you destroy those who tell lies.^(A)
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
    you, Lord, detest.

²³ But you, God, will bring down the wicked
    into the pit^(A) of decay;
the bloodthirsty and deceitful^(B)
    will not live out half their days.^(C)

But as for me, I trust in you.^(D)

² How long will you people turn my glory^(A) into shame?^(B)
    How long will you love delusions and seek false gods^[a]?^[b](C)

²¹ See, the Lord is coming^(A) out of his dwelling^(B)
    to punish^(C) the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood^(D) shed on it;
    the earth will conceal its slain no longer.

⁸ Lord, I love^(A) the house where you live,
    the place where your glory dwells.^(B)
9 Do not take away my soul along with sinners,
    my life with those who are bloodthirsty,^(C)
10 in whose hands are wicked schemes,^(D)
    whose right hands are full of bribes.^(E)
