¹⁵ As for yourself, you shall go to your ancestors in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.^(A)

¹³ wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the deepest darkness has been reserved forever.^(A)

²² The poor man died and was carried away by the angels to be with Abraham.^[a] The rich man also died and was buried.^{(A) 23} In Hades, where he was being tormented, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus by his side.^[b](B)

²⁰ But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is being demanded of you. And the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’^(A)

¹³ Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’^(A)

⁷ and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the breath^[a] returns to God who gave it.^(A)
