⁸ God reigns^(A) over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.^(B)

³¹ Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;^(A)
    let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!^(B)”

    For our Lord God Almighty^(D) reigns.^(E)

¹⁴ Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne;^(A)
    love and faithfulness go before you.^(B)

⁶ Your throne, O God,^[a] will last for ever and ever;^(A)
    a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
⁷ You love righteousness^(B) and hate wickedness;^(C)
    therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
    by anointing^(D) you with the oil of joy.^(E)

²⁷ All the ends of the earth^(A)
    will remember and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
    will bow down before him,^(B)
28 for dominion belongs to the Lord^(C)
    and he rules over the nations.

²⁹ All the rich^(D) of the earth will feast and worship;^(E)
    all who go down to the dust^(F) will kneel before him—
    those who cannot keep themselves alive.^(G)

⁴ For you have upheld my right^(A) and my cause,^(B)
    sitting enthroned^(C) as the righteous judge.^(D)
