⁷ For thus says the Lord:
^(A)“Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob,
    and raise shouts for ^(B)the chief of the nations;
proclaim, give praise, and say,
    ^(C)‘O Lord, save your people,
    the remnant of Israel.’

^47 (A)Save us, O Lord our God,
    and ^(B)gather us from among the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name
    and glory in your praise.

^4 (A)Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
    ^(B)break forth into joyous song and sing praises!

“Hallelujah!
^(B)Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
²     for ^(C)his judgments are true and just;
for he has judged ^(D)the great prostitute
    who corrupted the earth with her immorality,
and ^(E)has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”

^12 (A)“For you shall go out in joy
    and be led forth in peace;
^(B)the mountains and the hills before you
    shall break forth into singing,
    and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

⁵ God ^(A)has gone up with a shout,
    the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
