²⁵ For ^(A)our soul is bowed down to the ^[a]dust;
Our body clings to the ground.

^25 (A)My soul clings to the dust;
^(B)Revive me according to Your word.

^23 (A)But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you,
Who have said to ^[a]you,
‘Lie down, that we may walk over you.’
And you have laid your body like the ground,
And as the street, for those who walk over.”

^11 (A)You brought us into the net;
You laid affliction on our backs.
^12 (B)You have caused men to ride over our heads;
^(C)We went through fire and through water;
But You brought us out to ^[a]rich fulfillment.
