4 Even though I (A)walk through the valley of (B)the shadow of death,[a] I will (C)fear no evil, for (D)you are with me; your (E)rod and your staff, they comfort me.
17 “You shall say to them this word: (A)‘Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease, for the virgin (B)daughter of my people is shattered with a great wound, (C)with a very grievous blow.
10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on (A)the throne of the beast, and (B)its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish
11 Then (A)I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon.12 It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence,[a] and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, (B)whose mortal wound was healed.13 (C)It performs great signs, even (D)making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people,
2 And the beast that I saw was (A)like a leopard; its feet were like (B)a bear's, and its mouth was like (C)a lion's mouth. And to it (D)the dragon gave his power and (E)his throne and great authority.
9 And (A)the great dragon was thrown down, (B)that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, (C)the deceiver of the whole world—(D)he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
16 (A)the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and (B)shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.”
(A)“Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, (B)the great dragon that lies in the midst of his streams, (C)that says, ‘My Nile is my own; I made it for myself.’
7 (A)the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of (B)jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes.
13 (A)Thorns shall grow over its strongholds, nettles and thistles in its fortresses. It shall be the haunt of (B)jackals, an abode for ostriches.[a] 14 (C)And wild animals shall meet with hyenas; the wild goat shall cry to his fellow; indeed, there the night bird[b] settles and finds for herself a resting place.
27 In that day the Lord with his hard and great and strong (A)sword will punish (B)Leviathan the fleeing serpent, (C)Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay (D)the dragon that is in the sea.
13 You (A)divided the sea by your might; you (B)broke the heads of (C)the sea monsters[a] on the waters. 14 You crushed the heads of (D)Leviathan; you gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.
To the choirmaster: according to (A)Shushan Eduth. A (B)Miktam[a] of David; (C)for instruction; when he (D)strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and when Joab on his return struck down twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt.
60 O God, (E)you have rejected us, (F)broken our defenses; you have been angry; (G)oh, restore us. 2 You have made the land to quake; you have torn it open; (H)repair its breaches, for it totters. 3 (I)You have made your people see hard things; (J)you have given us (K)wine to drink that made us stagger.
21 before I go—and (A)I shall not return— to the land of (B)darkness and (C)deep shadow, 22 the land of gloom like thick darkness, like deep shadow without any order, where light is as thick darkness.”
