^13 (A)As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us; yet we have not entreated the favor of the Lord our God, ^(B)turning from our iniquities and gaining insight by your truth.

^14 (A)then your heart be lifted up, and you ^(B)forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery,

^12 (A)then take care lest you forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

³⁷ I will make you ^(A)pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.

The Lord's Everlasting Covenant

⁵⁹ “For thus says the Lord God: I will deal with you as you have done, you ^(A)who have despised the oath in breaking the covenant,

³² not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when ^(A)I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, ^(B)though I was their husband, declares the Lord.
