¹¹ but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him,
    in those who hope in his steadfast love.

² O my God, in you I trust;
    do not let me be put to shame;
    do not let my enemies exult over me.^(A)

¹⁷ Show me a sign of your favor,
    so that those who hate me may see it and be put to shame,
    because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.^(A)

⁸ and have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy;
    you have set my feet in a broad place.^(A)

²⁵ Do not let them say to themselves,
    “Aha, we have our heart’s desire.”
Do not let them say, “We have swallowed you^[a] up.”^(A)
