⁷ You have put gladness in my heart
    more than when their grain and wine abound.^(A)

³ You have multiplied exultation;^[a]
    you have increased its joy;
they rejoice before you
    as with joy at the harvest,
    as people exult when dividing plunder.^(A)

² So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
    beholding your power and glory.^(A)
3 Because your steadfast love is better than life,
    my lips will praise you.^(B)
4 So I will bless you as long as I live;
    I will lift up my hands and call on your name.^(C)

⁴ Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.^(A)

⁴ Then I will go to the altar of God,
    to God my exceeding joy,
and I will praise you with the harp,
    O God, my God.^(A)

⁴ For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work;
    at the works of your hands I sing for joy.

³³ Gladness and joy have been taken away
    from the fruitful land of Moab;
I have stopped the wine from the winepresses;
    no one treads them with shouts of joy;
    the shouting is not the shout of joy.^(A)
