¹⁷ For ^(A)the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
    but the Lord ^(B)upholds the righteous.

¹⁰ fear not, for I am with you;
    be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
    I will uphold you with ^(A)my righteous right hand.

⁸ My soul ^(A)clings to you;
    your right hand ^(B)upholds me.

¹⁴ The Lord ^(A)upholds all who are falling
    and ^(B)raises up all who are bowed down.

42 ^(A)Behold ^(B)my servant, whom I uphold,
    my chosen, ^(C)in whom my soul delights;
^(D)I have put my Spirit upon him;
    ^(E)he will bring forth justice to the nations.

^24 (A)though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,
    for the Lord ^(B)upholds his hand.

¹¹⁶ Uphold me ^(A)according to your promise, that I may live,
    and let me not be ^(B)put to shame in my ^(C)hope!
^117 (D)Hold me up, that I may be safe
    and have regard for your statutes continually!

¹² Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
    and uphold me with a willing spirit.
