¹⁸ I will give you thanks in the great assembly;^(A)
    among the throngs^(B) I will praise you.^(C)

23 You who fear the Lord, praise him!^(C)
    All you descendants of Jacob, honor him!^(D)
    Revere him,^(E) all you descendants of Israel!
²⁴ For he has not despised^(F) or scorned
    the suffering of the afflicted one;^(G)
he has not hidden his face^(H) from him
    but has listened to his cry for help.^(I)

²⁵ From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly;^(J)
    before those who fear you^[a] I will fulfill my vows.^(K)

    in the presence of all his people,

³ May the peoples praise you, God;
    may all the peoples praise you.^(D)
4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy,^(E)
    for you rule the peoples with equity^(F)
    and guide the nations of the earth.^(G)

“Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
    I will sing the praises of your name.”^[a](C)

⁴ May all the kings of the earth^(A) praise you, Lord,
    when they hear what you have decreed.
