31 In ^(A)You, O Lord, I ^[a]put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness.

² O my God, I ^(A)trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
^(B)Let not my enemies triumph over me.

⁴ Our fathers trusted in You;
They trusted, and You delivered them.
⁵ They cried to You, and were delivered;
^(A)They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.

71 In ^(A)You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Let me never be put to shame.
^2 (B)Deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape;
^(C)Incline Your ear to me, and save me.
^3 (D)Be my ^[a]strong refuge,
To which I may resort continually;
You have given the ^(E)commandment to save me,
For You are my rock and my fortress.

143 Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.

^23 (A)Kings shall be your foster fathers,
And their queens your nursing mothers;
They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth,
And ^(B)lick up the dust of your feet.
Then you will know that I am the Lord,
^(C)For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.”
