¹⁹ Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
    and he saved them from their distress;
²⁰ he sent out his word and healed them
    and delivered them from destruction.^(A)
21 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
    for his wonderful works to humankind.
²² And let them offer thanksgiving sacrifices
    and tell of his deeds with songs of joy.^(B)

¹ I love the Lord because he has heard
    my voice and my supplications.^(A)
2 Because he inclined his ear to me,
    therefore I will call on him as long as I live.^(B)

³³ For the Lord hears the needy
    and does not despise his own who are in bonds.^(A)

¹⁹ But truly God has listened;
    he has heard the words of my prayer.^(A)
