¹⁴ Blessed are those who wash their robes. They will be permitted to enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. ¹⁵ Outside the city are the dogs—the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.

⁴⁶ “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

⁴⁴ “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’

³² All the nations^[a] will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

⁵¹ and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

¹⁸ Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”
