Benediction

²⁴ Now to him who is able to keep you from falling and to make you stand without blemish in the presence of his glory with rejoicing,^(A)

⁶ For it is indeed just of God to repay with affliction those who afflict you ⁷ and to give relief to the afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels^{(A) 8} in a fiery flame, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.^{(B) 9} These will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,^(C)

²⁰ Yet you say, “The way of the Lord is not just.” O house of Israel, I will judge all of you according to your ways!^(A)

¹⁷ Yet your people say, “The way of the Lord is not just,” when it is their own way that is not just.

²⁹ Yet the house of Israel says, “The way of the Lord is unfair.” O house of Israel, are my ways unfair? Is it not your ways that are unfair?

²⁵ Yet you say, “The way of the Lord is unfair.” Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way unfair? Is it not your ways that are unfair?^(A)
