Doxology

²⁴ To him who is able^(A) to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence^(B) without fault^(C) and with great joy—

⁶ God is just:^(A) He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you^{(B) 7} and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven^(C) in blazing fire^(D) with his powerful angels.^{(E) 8} He will punish^(F) those who do not know God^(G) and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.^{(H) 9} They will be punished with everlasting destruction^(I) and shut out from the presence of the Lord^(J) and from the glory of his might^(K)

²⁰ Yet you Israelites say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But I will judge each of you according to your own ways.”^(A)

¹⁷ “Yet your people say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But it is their way that is not just.

²⁹ Yet the Israelites say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Are my ways unjust, people of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

²⁵ “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’^(A) Hear, you Israelites: Is my way unjust?^(B) Is it not your ways that are unjust?
